Kao x AEON: Recycle & Get Rewarded


Kao wanted to reinforce its commitment to sustainability while driving in-store engagement at AEON supermarkets. The challenge? Make recycling feel as rewarding as shopping.
We designed an interactive activation that put eco-conscious action at the forefront. A dedicated kiosk invited shoppers to recycle any HDPE 2 plastics in exchange for vouchers and exclusive Kao gifts—transforming waste into tangible rewards. This not only incentivized participation but also deepened Kao’s brand affinity as a champion of sustainability.
By blending purpose with engagement, we turned recycling into a habit, not a hassle—driving footfall, brand loyalty, and a greener tomorrow.
